Job Description

We are looking to recruit a Lead care assistant for our luxury Care complex in Epsom.

If you do not drive and will need to use public transport, a taxi will be provided by the care home from the following local stations - Epsom Down, Epsom, Sutton and Banstead.

We are a leader in the luxury care home market, offering the best to our clients and we are looking for exceptional individuals to join our care team.

As a Laed care assistant an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care is essential, however a vast range of experience isn't as we offer full training and perceptorship

Lead care assistant salary is up to £10.50 per hour

We are looking for a Lead Care Assistant to promote and deliver person-centred care within our care philosophy.


You will:

-Work within a team ethos with the resident's choices, dignity, independence and personal safety being at the core of all care and support activity.

-Provide direct care to residents involving, washing, assistance with dressing, help with mobility and support with food and fluid intake.

-Be aware and participating in the development of resident Care Plans and having full awareness of any specialist support needs.

-Provide on-going support for the residents, their family and the Care Services Team.

-Support residents to create a homely environment in their apartments, assisting with organizing their environment to promote wellbeing and independence.

About you.

We are looking for motivated, pro-active individuals who are persistently striving for excellence.

Although we don't require someone with any direct qualifications, the following attributes would be desirable:

-Ability to communicate well, both written and verbally
-A flexible and pro-active individual able to work in a team.
-NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care is essential but experience is not
-Ability to organise and prioritise workload under pressure
-Medically able to carry out duties and responsibilities
-A passionate individual ready to develop and learn new skills in order to progress in your role.
