Up to £28,000 per year and up to 15% yearly bonus

About the role.

The Restaurant Manager is a hands-on working role supervising all the catering service areas within the home for residents and visitors. He or she must ensure that customer care and service are delivered in a consistent and profitable way, and that the home operates to the agreed standard regarding the catering service.

Specific duties and responsibilities are, but not limited to;

  • Manage and deliver all catering services throughout the home ensuring that resident choice, dignity, confidentiality and safety are maintained
  • Ensure that every mealtime is an outstanding dining experience
  • Contribute to the home's profits by controlling departmental costs whilst maintaining service standards and product quality.
  • Help with the collation of individual resident care plans in relation to their food and nutritional requirements
  • Liaise with other departments, in particular the Activities Manager and the Care Services Manager, to provide imaginative and interesting themes for special events
  • Ensure residents are listened to and appropriate action is taken with regard to specific requests
