Job Title: Care Assistant

Salary/Rate: £8.20 - £8.4/hour

We are recruiting Care Assistants to join the team at our Care home working nights.

The Shifts are 12 hours and the shifts available are 8pm - 8am.

Training given and minimal previous experiance needed.

If overtime is worked then time and a half is paid if you work more than 44 hours.

Full time shifts available

The home is care centre caring for those of varying age and disability levels including challenging behaviour and severe complex needs.

As a Care Assistant you will:

- Take responsibility for the physical and emotional well being and social needs of our residents

- Assist residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and assisting with meals

- Provide physical and mental stimulation by taking part in recreational and social activities with residents, both individually and as a group

- Help to maintain accurate records, undertaking ongoing training and getting involved in welcoming and training new staff

- Generally promote our residents' independence, choice, dignity and respect by delivering the very best standards of care

- Ideally, some experience in a care environment and an NVQ1 in Care, although this is not as essential as your genuine desire to develop a career in this field
